On December 3, 2003, Mr. Kailash Agarwal 'Manav', the Founder and Chairman of Narayan Seva Sansthan, was honored with the National Award in the Personal Category by His Excellency, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India. This award recognized his outstanding contributions to the welfare of persons with disabilities.

On November 9, 2011, Mr. Kailash Agarwal 'Manav' received another National Award in the Personal Category, presented by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, then Union Minister for Finance, at the Balyogi Auditorium, Parliament House, New Delhi, for his continued excellence in serving the disabled community.

On December 3, 2023, Mr. Prashant Agrawal, Global President of Narayan Seva Sansthan, was conferred the National Award for "The Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities" by the Honorable President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Attended by dignitaries including Dr. Virendra Kumar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, this award celebrated Mr. Agrawal’s pioneering efforts in establishing residential schools, vocational training centers, and providing assistive devices to empower differently-abled individuals across India.
